[email protected] I am a papercut illustrator who specializes in creating handmade children's illustrations featuring a whimsical world inhabited by charming animal citizens. I live with two cats next to the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN, USA. I have spent hours walking in the woods near my house, and while I've yet to spot a cat canoeing or a bear selling lemonade, I use the inspiration to bring these characters to life in my illustrations. I hold a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota, where I began my career as a painter. A decade ago, I fell in love with the intricacy and charm of paper-cutting and taught myself the craft. I spend my days working as a teaching assistant for students with disabilities, I am a passionate advocate for inclusion, kindness, and creativity for all. Through my work, I encourage people of all ages and abilities to look for joy and magic in every experience. |
